Fundraising dinner a success!

Last night, Saturday May 11th, we had a fundraising dinner at St. Stephen's Parish Hall in Chester. It was a resounding success. It featured delicious, local lobster from Ryer's in Indian Harbour, my potato salad, Mary MacInnis's coleslaw, rolls from Julien's in Chester, apple pie from Chester Save Easy, Laughing Whale coffee and The Tea Brewery tea. Guest speaker Chronicle Herald columnist Bill Black gave us informative insight into power rates, the Muskrat Falls hydroelectric project and also on ways of developing a sustainable rural economy in Nova Scotia. Leader Jamie Baillie brought us up to date on 'the week that was' in the Nova Scotia legislature and the Progressive Conservative Party's election platform. We are ready to take on the NDP and Liberals and win Chester-St. Margaret's. Thanks to everyone who came out to support our campaign.
